Life Changes Ahead!

As my time here in Florida and at Disney is drawing to a close I can't help but think about all the wonderful friends I have made along the way and everything that I have learned.


I have learned:

• I can take being yelled at as long as they don't make it personal.
• I value sleep more than I value food.
• I am harder than I ever thought.
• I can now adapt to any sort of sleep schedule including graveyard shifts.
• I have the best friends ever!!
• I can life on my own and feed myself. 
• I can determine if something is worth my time or not.
• I am fairly decent at budgeting. 
• I can make life changing decisions without the world falling apart.
• I have an amazing support system in my friends and family.

So basically I can function as a semi-adult by making life changing decisions with the support of my friends and family. I have decided that as much as I love Florida and what I do here at Disney the West Coast is where I am meant to be at the moment. If later on I decide to come back to Florida good but for now my future lays elsewhere.

I will be leaving Florida here in about 3 weeks. I will be driving back across the country but this time I will be spending a little bit more than 4 days doing it. I am very excited to see what this new adventure will bring me and I am sure that I will be sharing it with you all. I have a couple visits with relatives and friends set up between here and there. It will be fun and hopefully I will learn a lot and grow more as a person.

The Bugs Have Bite

I'm sure everyone has experienced a bug bite. The initial ouch and then the irritating itch that can last for days after. I am no exception to this progression of bug bites except for one little detail.  Bugs LOVE me. When I say love I honestly and truly mean it. I can't go outside during mosquito season without coming back without at least 4 or 5 bug bites. This past Thursday was no exception. 

I was over at my friend's apartment watching a movie. After we were hanging out on the balcony. We must have been having so much fun because I failed to notice that the bugs were biting. The next morning was a different story. Each of my legs are sporting at least 4 bites each. 

The bites and the itch that comes with them are not even the real problem right now. It's the pantyhose and heels that must go on top of them for work. They irritate them to no end

- Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World

As my time here in the world of Disney draws to a close (I have about 5 weeks left) I can't help but wonder what lies next for me. Where do I go from here? I've been given many different pieces of advice over the last month in trying to make the right decision on whether to stay with Disney here in Orlando or to move on to new and greater things. 

It wasn't until a few weeks ago when I went back to the Pacific Northwest for a week of relaxation (and my cousin's wedding) that I realized how much I missed the mountains and the weather there. As nice as it is to be lying in the sun by the pool in April I miss the season's that the northwest has. 

Where do I go from here? I'm not sure where I will be 6 months from now but my plan is to be loving it.  
So many voices ringing in my ear. Many people have given me advice and thoughts on what I should do or be doing I appreciate all of their advice but that leads me to  
Which is the voice that I was meant to hear? How will I know? Where do I go from here? I have reached a crossroad in my life and am unsure of which way to turn. Changes are up ahead.
